An Inspired Beginning; or not!

dEAR fRIENDS,
I am just now begining this blog and I am not sure what it will turn into, or what it will not turn into, but I feel that it is a good way of writing things down and letting people know what is going on in my life and in my head. So, as many of you know I am out of the country living in Africa and will be for the next year or so, and with that being the case, if you have ever been around me, you may be really dying for a taste of the foolish odd things that usually come out of my mouth, but they will henceforth come in written form. If you know me well enough you will be able to add the inflection and strange idiosincrecies that come with it yourself, and if not, well, hopefully I will write stupid and strange enough things to keep you interested without it. At anyrate, maybe something will come of this and maybe I will be able to share just a little of my life with any of you if you care!
So, the title of this blog site is "Blind but Able" and that simply means that I am blind but through the all encompassing power of our God, the Father the Son and the Spirit, I am able to live and make a difference, even though it is hard to imagine it. However, it is sort of like an ancient Greek Bard who is blind, but sits around the great palace halls and inspired by the muse sings a song for all to here. Even though after he is finished and done he must be led back to his home or he would not find it, still he has made a difference with his' words. That is exactly what we are...He leads us through this life with awesome faithfulness never letting us go, but when the time comes we must be empowered by the Spirit to speak the truth just like John did in the wilderness! Just a blind voice that is able by his' strength, amen.
Walk tall and follow him, and he will recieve the glory!
